Exchanging knowledge is of key importance in science in general. It is also a fundamental goal of the time I’m spending at UC Santa Barbara. On May 25th, 2023, I had the honor to give a talk on Geographic-Aware Augmented Reality in the Colloquium of the Geography Department at UCSB. My talk focused on the foundations and key application scenarios of Augmented Reality applications which can display virtual objects at their true location.
