This is another post about the task I already reported on in April – the systematic review.
After months of coding, I have the impression that the coding scheme I developed (including a web-application to do so), is, finally, converging. For 50+ papers, I have no longer made any changes, so that’s a good sign.
The entire coding scheme is a massive piece of work – it consists of 25+ concepts and 80+ codes. This gives me the opportunity to assess all the papers in great detail – ranging from the conceptualization, to the environmental feature and the performance measure used for spatial familiarity.
Now, on to re-application of the coding system to the hundreds of papers included…
